In this article, we'll show some of the most commonly asked questions and/or requested features we receive. 

If I want to offer my employees or clients a free gift, how should I do that?

The best option would be a redemption portal. We can generate codes and send them to your employees via email along with the portal link. They can enter the portal and choose their gift.  

What if I don't want to send out unique codes, just one link? 

To send a free gift to your employees without using a code, and the option to select multiple items, we would suggest a non-credit card portal.   You will have the ability to assign specific users who are authorized to order from the portal, or un-restrict it to all users. 

  If un-restircted you will need to designated approvers to confirm incoming orders.  The orders will not be processed until your approver "approves" the order. This way, you are sure that only the approved people receive your gift. Having an approver prevents the portal link from being used outside your employee base, as you can reject orders where the end user is not recognized. 

I want to send a gift to each of my donors but I want it to be a surprise, how can I put in orders for them?

We can place multiple orders for you, at one time, with a CSV template upload. All we need is an excel spreadsheet with the names, address, and other pertinent information. You can find the whole process and the CSV template in this article.

How can I add a Thank you note to each order?

Kotis has a portal "Add-on" feature to request a thank you note be included in every order placed through the portal! We can even handwrite the note for a personalized touch! Please read here to add that feature to your portal.

My company has different budgets for every department, how can I set a departmental budget?

Through a non-credit card portal, we set up user groups representing each department.   A budget can be set for each user group to be tracked with each order.  Once the budget amount is reached, no orders can be completed until the budget is replenished.  Kotis will reset the budgets based on clients request and need.  You can read about this feature here.

I own a company that sells cannabis products. I want to send gifts to my customers but per federal regulations, I cannot give away free items, how can I send them gifts without violating the regulations?

A credit card portal is the best option. You can charge a minimal amount, say $1 for the product. Or we can list it at the regular price and then set up a discount code to bring down the price to a set amount and offer free shipping.

Since this will be shipping from you, all we need is the tracking information once the product is shipped so we can answer inquiries when the customers reaches out to Kotis.
