Portal Shipping Options
When setting up a portal, a shipping method needs to be identified. The best option will depend on your company’s needs and priorities.
US Shipping Methods
UPS Ground
- All orders ship via UPS Ground.
- Note: If need-by dates are enabled, expedited options (UPS 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air) become available.
FedEx Ground
- All orders ship via FedEx Ground.
- Note: If need-by dates are enabled, expedited options (FedEx Express Saver, 2-Day, Overnight) become available.
Economy + Need-By Dates Enabled
- Orders ship using the most cost-effective carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx).
- If a need-by date is provided, the shipping method will automatically upgrade to ensure on-time delivery.

- This is the only option that supports delivery to PO boxes.
International Shipping Methods
Express DDP
- Compares UPS and FedEx to select the most cost-effective delivered-duty-paid (DDP) option.
- Delivery typically takes 2–6 business days.
- Import duties and taxes are billed through your quarterly report.
Economy DDU
- A lower-cost, slower service (5–20 business days).
- Delivered-duty-unpaid (DDU) = the recipient is responsible for paying duties and taxes.
Economy DDP
- Same delivery speed as Economy DDU (5–20 business days), but duties and taxes are billed to your account instead of the recipient.
- Currently supported in 48 countries, with more being added.
- If a destination is not supported, the system will upgrade to the most cost-effective Express DDP option.
UPS DDP
- Uses UPS services only, selecting the most economical option.
- Delivery typically takes 2–6 business days.
- This is the default international shipping method.
FedEx DDP
