Delivery Requirements for Shipping Products to Kotis

  • updated 3 days ago

Before shipping product to Kotis warehouses, please be aware of the Inventory Exclusivity provision in our Agreement. You are required to give Kotis an opportunity to bid on all items coming to our warehouse.  Our guide, "Understanding Non-Kotis Made Products" will provide additional information.

In the event Kotis cannot produce a particular item, or cannot match another vendor’s quote, the Inventory Exclusivity provision allows you to purchase those items from another vendor.

Non-Kotis Produced Merchandise will be approved via your Program Manager (PM).   To process you incoming inventory please provide the details below:

  • Item Description, quantity, color, item value, and any additional information.
  • Photo of each item (preferred)

To ensure your product is listed and checked-in correctly to your inventory set, the requirements below must be followed for all incoming packages to Kotis warehouses.  Items received without following these requirements will be subject to delay or refused, as outlined in our Warehouse Standards

Review “Understanding Non-Kotis Produced Merchandise & Inventory Exclusivity” and Kotis warehouse standards for more information.

These warnings come in the following forms:

  • Physical warning labels Kotis applies to all products shipping within California
  • Website warnings that pop up on the checkout page if a California address is listed as the delivery address

Common promotional items on the list include certain makes of sunglasses, earbuds and drinkware.

Kotis Produced Merchandise:  Kotis handles confirming with vendors if items are Prop 65 complaint.

Non-Kotis produced merchandise:  Client is required to research with their vendor if the items are Prop 65 complaint. Client must communicate whether the items require Prop 65 labelling when sending product to our warehouses.
