Sales & Shipment Reports

  • updated 3 wk ago

These two reports have the most data points out of all the reports you have access to pull.

Sales Report

This is a detailed report of all orders placed across your inventory set. Orders show up in this report as soon as they are placed. Use this report to see a holistic view of ordering activity.

Shipment Report

The main difference between this report from the Sales Report is orders only show up on this report once they have shipped. Tracking information is included in this report. Clients commonly use this to see a holistic view of shipment ordering activity.

Shipping Charges

This report is an aggregate of all shipping charges you are billed. When you receive a quarterly report, the shipping amount charged will match up to the sum of costs from this report for the quarter you are being billed + 10%.

In the interest of complete transparency, we show you the net rates billed to Kotis from our 3rd party shippers. It does not include the 10% mark up billed on your quarterly report.  Shipping charges are not covered by the rebate.

Quick note: multiple shipping charges showing up separately for one order is very common.  The reason orders might have multiple charges come through is not all bills come in at once. Things like address corrections, duties/taxes, packages returned to sender, etc are almost always billed after the initial shipment fee so multiple separate charges show up.

Quick Tips for Pulling Reports

Using Item Level Detail

If you would like to pull a report broken down by all individual items ordered, you can use the item level detail feature. Click the checkbox “Include item details” and you will have a report broken down by individual SKUs within each order.

Download to CSV

Selecting “Download to CSV” will automatically save the file to your downloads so you don’t have to copy and paste the information into an excel file.

Selecting specific portals

If you would like to run a report for a specific portal, you can do so by selecting that in the portal dropdown.
