International Production, Warehousing & Fulfillment

Supporting a global team shouldn’t require managing multiple vendors, warehouses, and shipping strategies. Kotis makes it easy to deliver branded merchandise worldwide without the typical complexity of international logistics.

📦 International Capabilities

Kotis supports global distribution in two key ways:

1. Worldwide Shipping from the United States

  • Ship globally using trusted carrier networks
  • Competitive, discounted international shipping rates
  • High delivery accuracy with full tracking visibility
  • Expertise in customs documentation, duties/taxes, and clearance
  • Best for lower volume programs or centrally produced inventory

2. Regional Fulfillment Support

  • In-region support available in:
    • United Kingdom & EU
    • India
    • China
    • Brazil
    • Additional regions as needed
  • Reduces transit times
  • Ideal for high-volume distribution within a single country/region
  • Product costs can be more expensive compared to the US, but you save significantly on shipping and duties/taxes

💡 When to Use Each Approach

Ship from U.S.

  • Lower volume or more distributed global audiences
  • The need for consistent product production
  • Infrequent international shipments
  • More efficient when production and delivery countries differ

Fulfill In-Region

  • High volume where we are producing the product and delivering within the same country
  • Audience is concentrated
  • Frequent shipments to the same region
  • Faster delivery times are a priority

🌍 What We Need From You

  • Market Presence

    • Where are your recipients located and what does volume look like?

  • Shipping Details
    • Delivery addresses, regions, or countries
    • Any specific timing or location considerations
  • Program Strategy
    • Are items being produced for one-time events or stored for ongoing distribution?
  • Product Preferences
    • Openness to comparable (not identical) products to U.S. brands
    • Target budget per item or total
    • Note: Local sourcing can offer more relevant or trending options for that market

Example scenario

Client has the following employee audience

  • ~800 employees in the US and Canada
  • ~500 employees in India
  • Fewer than 50 employees in the UK

If we produced all kits in the US, the India kits would match exactly. However, each India kit would need to be individually drop shipped internationally at an estimated $31 per kit, resulting in higher costs, longer transit times, and added customs complexity.

By producing the India kits locally:

Individual drop shipping within India is approximately $8 per kit This approach results in

  • A estimated $11,500 in shipping savings
  • Delivery is faster and more reliable
  • There is less risk tied to customs delays

To balance consistency, cost, and delivery speed, we recommend a split production approach:

US, Canada, and UK kits will be produced and fulfilled from the US. India kits will be produced and fulfilled locally in India using a comparable kit. This strategy allows us to maintain a consistent employee experience while optimizing for cost, speed, and reliability across regions.
