How to Place a Fantastapack Job

Fantastapack provides custom boxes in all shapes and sizes.  This guide will provide the steps to properly set up a job with Fantastapack.

Quotes & Pricing

Step 1: AM requests Fantastapack quote from OPA team.  Needed Info:

  • Product type  
  • Qty  
  • Dimensions (L x W x D)  (Dimensions should always be listed in this format)
  • Material  
  • Custom Artwork?  
  • Two Sided Print?  
  • Gloss Finish (if it can be done on the material)?  

Step 2:  Locate product on Fantastapack website and enter info as if placing order, but do not click “Add to Cart”  

  • Website will automatically adjust for price  

Step 3: Respond to AM with pricing  

Step 4: Add quote info and pricing to job notes on job page  

Placing An Order

Step 1:  Select the appropriate box

Step 2:  Input quantity and dimensions.  

  • It is essential that you enter the correct dimensions as indicated on the job pages:  

Step 3:   Select appropriate material (standard white, premium white, or kraft).  

Step 4:  Ensure “Custom Artwork” is selected (it is selected by default).  

Step 5: Select “Two Sided Print” or “Gloss Finish” if appropriate. 

  •  The AMs should indicate this information on the job page prior to marking ready for production. If you have any questions or need clarification,  ask the AM before placing the order. 

Step 6:  After you have the quantity, dimensions, and any print options configured, hit the “add to cart” button. (Make sure the cart has only the boxes for the order you’re submitting.)  

Step 7:  After the box has been added to the cart, click “checkout.”  

Step 8:  Select the appropriate shipping address (change or add a new address by clicking “edit”) and shipping method.  

  • At this stage, you will also see a discount field. By entering our promo code, KOTISDESIGN, we will get 20% off the order.
  • This promo code should get automatically applied to every order.
  • If you see the discount is already applied, then no further action is required. If you do not see the discount applied at this stage, then you will need to add it using the discount field (see attached). Our 20% discount can and should be applied to every order.  

Step 9:  When filling out the Shipping Address field, please make sure to include the following in the ATTN: line:  a.       

  • Kotis PO <PO # that the job is printing under (Fantastapack PO #)>  
  • If the job is shipping to KPS for kitting, list a slash after the Fantastapack PO # and list the PO # of the KPS kitting job (can be found on job page)  
  • e.g. ATTN: "Kotis PO 258624/258203"  

Step 10:  Continue to payment method and complete the order.  

Samples

Fantastapack does not provide free or random samples, but does not have an MOQ, so we can place an order for 1 custom sample (need to upload art if we print it).  

Pre-Pro Samples

Per Fantastapack, pre-pro samples should be ordered separate from the full order (they have a minimum order qty of 1).  

Shipping Notes

If shipping multiple orders to the same location, you can add all orders to the cart and checkout at one time. If you have multiple orders with different shipping locations, you must checkout for each order separately.  

Per Fantastapack,

“Please don’t ask us when an order will ship because we don’t know. We will only know when the order is completed in our shipping dept and ready for UPS pickup. Everybody wants their order moved up but it isn’t feasible. We run a first-in-first-out queue and your place in line starts when you upload your artwork. All orders ship within 10 calendar days after you have uploaded artwork (assuming the artwork is correct). If the 10th day falls on a Saturday or Sunday then it may ship as late as the Monday after. We do our best to ship that order on the Friday before the weekend but in circumstances of extreme capacity issues it can fall as late as the Monday after the weekend, or next business day. You will get an auto email with the tracking number once the shipping label is created.”  

Art Notes

  • After you have submitted an order, Fantastapack will send a PDF die line to po@kotisdesign.com within 24 hours. Most of the time it is within a half hour.  
  • If you don’t see the die line within a couple hours, follow up with Fantastapack.  
  • Once you have the PDF die line, email it to art@kotisdesign.com and be sure to include the job#. The art team will prepare the final art files using the PDF die line and then send back to you. 
  • Once you have the final art files, you must upload them to the Fantastapack website. Go to our account by clicking “kotis design” at the top of the website (between “log out” and “cart”), find and click into the appropriate order, find and click into the product, and then click on “Upload Art.”  DONT FORGET TO HIT CONFIRM
