Work orders for patches and woven labels are sent to Forever Emblems in China.  The process for importing typically takes 12-15 days.  Arrival time has been increased to 8-10 days to prevent issues on the KPS schedule or accommodate common delays.

Step 1:  Job comes in for ordering via the WO queue.

• Go to job page and update shipping method to DHL 
• Enter in estimated ship date
  • 12 days for Woven labels & all Patches except PU 
  • 15 days for leather/faux leather patches 
  • Arrival date is 8-10 days 

Step 2:  Create work order with zero cost  

Step 3: Send work order with AI art file for production to the factory 

• When sending emails oversees it is polite to use greetings when opening and closing emails.
  • Opening:  Hello, Good morning, etc.
  • Closing: Thank you, Best regards, etc.
• The factory will send you a PI to confirm cost and an image of our on-account ledger confirming the payment code – cost – job#

Step 5: Update the Work order with the correct cost and approve with the factory if the code is next in order (sequentially), update our ledger with this cost and insure balance matches. 

Step 6: Confirm Work order on the job page.

Step 7: The factory will send a proof (most common) or a pre-pro sample (upon request only) for approval 

• Pre-pro sample is minimum $45 fee + transit 
• Photo proof should only take 1-2 days 
• Double-check photo proof first, then send photo proof to AM for approval 

Step 8: Confirm ship date and update date on job page, if needed.

Step 9: Enter Tracking information

Step 10: Confirm Delivery.

*Note: If the importing WO is set up to split-ship, confirm with Laura/AM to see if we have time to send it complete to the KWF location to break it down and split-ship from there.
